Today I want to present you in the category music not an artist, but a traditional geek instrument: the Bouzouki.

Today's cultural contribution is about a famous, traditional dance from Greece.
It is called "Ζειμπεκικο" as the Zimbekians, a small group of militia, invented this dance.
There is also the theory, that it derives from the ancient Greek word zei and bekos.
Zei means zeus, while bekos stands for body.

If you followed the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 you definetely know her – if not, you might also have heard her song already several times on the radio or in the internet.
With "Fuego" Eleni Foureira represented Cyprus at the ESC this year – and scored the 2nd place after "Netta" from Israel. This was the best place Cyprus reached in the history of the song contest.
