For our section “what if” today, we will speak about a very common “ingredient” that everyone has in his house.
Can you imagine to have to prepare some meals, especially sweets, and then realize that you don’t have sugar?

7.4 billion. That's the number of people currently living on our earth. It's an unbelievably large number and it's impossible to imagine all of these 7.4 billion humans on one place. But what if there were only one city? What if everyone would have to live there?

Chios, as the most islands or lands on the maritime regions is in a large part the home of people, who make their living through the cohabitation with the sea and the use of the gifts it can give us. Of course the fishers are not the only ones, who profit of the fishery, fish is wanted all over the world.

A world where nobody would have to work, has enough money and could create the life that he or she wants sounds not only unrealistic, it is. But let's just think about the case that nobody would have to work because everyone would have a small basic income anyway. Would the world change dramatically?
