Kardamyla is a borough built on the site of ancient Kardamilis, 28 kilometers from the city of Chios. The town is divided into two settlements, which together are the home of approximately 2000 inhabitants.

Kambos is located south of the city of Chios, encompassing an area of seven kilometers in length and of approximately two kilometers in width. The literal translation of the word Kambos is "plane" (like a leveled surface).
Elata

Elata is a small, yet noteworthy village, built at the side of a steep hill. It is a medieval village with some well preserved remains, such as the corner towers of its castle and some parts of the fortification.
