The battle of Marathon is a film directed by Bruno Vailati in 1959 filming were completed by Mario Bava In French and English credits the direction is attributed to Jacques Tourneur.
In the year 490 BC, Pheidippides was proclaimed winner of the Olympic games and brings the Olympic laurels in Athens.

„Best Foreign Language Film” in 1991. The film is set during World War II(in this war there were two factions. The Allies: United states, China,France ,UK and the Axis :Italy,Germany and Japan. ), and is about a group of Italian soldiers who are stranded on a Greek island and left behind by the war. The filming location was the Greek island Kastellorizio in the Dodecanese island complex.

This week I'll tell you about a TV series that you might have watched when you were smaller. It was actually one of my favourite series. "Mission Odyssey" is an animated series produced by the BAF Berlin Animation Film company. It has 26 episodes and was first premiered on German television. It is the child-friendly version of Homer's Odyssey.
