... we had no public transportation?

In every country you will find some sort of public transportation, the most normal kinds of public transportations are busses, ferries, rail-ways and airlines. Public transportation is available for the entire public, in exchange of money. The amount of money depends on which sort of transportation is necessary, if you are travelling long distance you might have to take a plane or a ferry. What would happen if we did not have this offer?

Most sorts of public transportations have a large amount of dangerous emissions, and sometimes they have more emissions than a regular vehicle. At the same time, people would not be depending on this offer, so more people would be forced to walk to their required destination. If we would not have public transportations, the amount of dangerous emissions would decline sharply and people would be more active on foot.

On the other hand, people would feel bound to buy their own transportation and therefore the amount of emissions would somehow still remain high, due to more vehicles on the roads. Also due to the difficulty of transport, many people would be forced to stay home. The world nowadays, is trying to stay green and environmental, the new sorts of transportations are mostly without emissions and therefore not harmful, so this keeps people from driving their own vehicles and keeps the emission level down.

A world without public transportation would be different from what we now know. If you don’t own your own transportation, you would not be able to travel around the world on the same way as now. It is a great labor resource, so without it, many people would be jobless.

The public transportation is a great offer; it allows you to travel around your city and even the world. This offer is important for keeping cities and countries connected and prevent us from being dependent on private transportation.
