Cheese slicer

In today’s speak if it’s Greek we will talk about the cheese slicer.

The cheese slicer is something a lot of people use everyday, it makes cutting food easier not only cheese but you can also use it for peeling a potato or cutting a cucumber and many other things too.

The cheese slicer was invented in 1925 by the Greek carpenter Constantine Canellas. He was irritated that he couldn’t get a good slice of cheese with his knife. He got the idea one day when he was in his workshop. He thought that maybe one of the tools in his workshop would work, he tried many different tools but there was one tool that worked almost perfectly and that was the planer.

He made some modifications to it and two years later it went into production in Athens, and today there has been more than 100 million cheese slicers made. Do you think this is a true story or not?

Solution:
