... we all had a photographic memory?

Everybody knows this situation: you have an important heavy test the next day and you did not start learning for it. Or you won’t have learned all your subject material in this period of time.

Then you wish there would be a miracle. Or you had a photographic memory so you would only spend some seconds on each paper. All your study problems were solved and you even would have some free time for meeting friends, having fun or just chill out a bit. You would finish your studies maybe in some weeks and could start another one.

People would be much more intelligent and know more about the world as it’s no big effort to get to know all the miracles of our world.

But if this was a common gift it wouldn’t be something special and people will expect more from you than today. You really have to be very intelligent to be successful and the job pressure would be enormous.

But maybe there would arise more categories for expert work, so that everybody has only one topic on which he is very professional. Then we lived in a world dominated by experts and everybody depends on others. People who aren’t born with this talent because of a gen mistake may be treated like diseased ones and would be in a minor league. They may be discriminated against.

But if everybody was so intelligent maybe there wouldn’t be any discrimination at all because they know that all living beings are equal in their wealth. I think we would live in an extreme world either in a better way than today or in a worse. However, our world would be a different one than we know.
