Tiri Saganaki Me Tiganita Avga

This is a typical greek recipe very simple with cheese and fried eggs for 4/6 people.
It’s a starter so called “Mezedes” and is excellent with lemon, pepper, salt, sugar, mussels or shrimps.


It can be take to “Ouzo” a famous greek liquor.

Ingredients:

•    12 eggs.


•    4/6 portions of gruyere cheese or another type.


•    1 teacup flour.


•    2 teacups of olive oil.


First of all, heat the olive oil in a frying pan (be careful not to burn or smoke).

Mix 2 eggs with flour to make paste.


Divide the gruyere cheese into portions, immerse each portion into water first, then into the egg and flour mixture, fry it in the heated oil until it becomes on both sides light brown colour.


Fry the remaining eggs separately in olive oil and serve them alongside with the fried cheese.
