Central Heating

In winter there is nothing better than getting back from frozen outdoors to the warm and cosy
interior of your house. The reason why we are not freezing to death in our houses during the winter is the central heating
system installed almost in every building in Europe.

This seemingly simple invetion is really one of
the most important wonders of the human technology, which dramtically changed the way we lived
forever. The system provides the heat to every room of no matter how big building through the
complex installations of pipes and makes our households, offices, schools warm enough to survive
inside even in the coldest parts of earth.
Althrough the prototype of the system that we use today was developed in the late 18th century, the
first references about it are dated thousands years back into the past.
Sooo, now; what do you think? Is it possible that the ancient Greeks, more than 2 thousand years
ago, had enough knowledge to came up with so complex thing as a central heating system?
Just speak if it's Greek.

Solution:
True. Maybe they are not as known as a heating engineers as ancient Romans, but it was Greeks who invented central heating. Unfortunetly there's no information who exactly was the mind behind the invention and what is the place where it was installed for the first time but for sure we know that The Temple of Artemis, which was built in ancient Greece some time before founding Roman Empire, was one of the places where it was used.
