Syros

It was built on a hill and is part of “Ano Syros”.  Surely, you should take a look at this place and walk through its charming small streets, its buildings with their medieval architecture and enjoy the breathtaking view over the whole Island and the surrounding archeological side and the natural spring.

Furthermore, a variety of beaches ensure comfortable holidays. “Kokkini beach” is recommendable, for instance – it offers a mostly undisturbed natural place with a wild, romantic, reddish rocky shore.

Also artistic and cultural entertainment is afforded: there are several music festivals on Syros which cover a wide spectrum of music types and a popular summer cinema opens in the warmest period of the year.
