Are you fond of true American music, influenced by country and blues? If the answer is yes, you will for sure like the new band of the week – Walker Fields!

Walker Fields is a duo consisting of vocalist and guitarist Brad Senne and Chris Tierney on drums. The two men are based in Minneapolis in The United States, and with “Walker Fields,” they experiment with many different music genres, like, for instance, blues, country, Americana, rock and Indie. The duo recently released their newest single “Black Cat Blues” on October 31st.

Walker Fields is a duo based in Minneapolis in the United States. It consists of singer, songwriter and guitarist Brad Senne and Chris Tierney on drums. With the musical project “Walker Fields,” the two men experiment with many different music genres – blues, country, Americana, rock and indie are some of the ones worth mentioning.

Walker Fields play both acoustic and more upbeat songs – many of them influenced by folk and “Delta Blues,” which is an early style of blues originated in Mississippi, USA. The “Delta Blues” contains tones from the guitar, the harmonica and the cigar box guitar – which together give a unique sound. A sound you can find in Walker Fields’ music!

Walker Fields is a popular live act, as well as they write their own songs and record albums. Their newest song “Black Cat Blues” was released on October 31st, but we will today give you a preview of one of their older songs, “Long Way Home” from their 2012 album “Gettin’ By.”
