Clammy, fast and without so much comfort.

“L” is a Greek film, the first feature movie of Babis Makridis and was nominated for the Best Script, too.

He is 40 years old, masculine and lives in his car. The less free time he is allowed to have, is always spent with his family-his wife and the two children. But there is not enough time to see them in their home-no. At a specified time and date the family comes together in parking lots. Maybe you ask yourself: which job makes you so busy? Well, good question. And here is the unexpected answer: His job is to handle with honey. With the finest one. His work is to locate and bring it to a fifty years old man who is unable to drive on his own.

During his work he has contact with a motorbike gang and he starts to fight a spoken war with them about cars and motorbikes. A stressful situation let him comes too late for his work, the second time. This mistake results in a great change for the life of this man. A new driver arises and the man gets fired. But this is not enough; he has to notice that nobody trusts him anymore. So he starts to contact the motorbike gang again . . .

The movie based on an original idea by Yorgos Giokas. The only language used for this film is Greek and the duration amounts about 87minutes. The letter “L” in the headline stands as assistant for the word Learning, so it could be an advice for the authors intention or aim.
