Spring is in the air, love is all around, and who's fault is it? The one of the hormones, small chemicals that influence cells and the reason for emotions like happiness, euphoria and ecstasy. Did the ever-happy people of Greece find out about them first? Speak if it's Greek!

This story is false. The hormones are of course a regular feature of our all bodies. So, they were not invented but they were discovered by Ernst Henry Starling and William Maddock Bayliss from Great Britain.
