...a day without time

In which situation of the day are you not looking at your watch? Would it be possible to live one day without knowing the time?

Imagine a beautiful morning. Something feels of, you feel weirdly rested, usually you smartphone interrupts you sleep by that time but instead the birds that start to sing and the light shines through the curtain of your window. This opportunity doesn't offer itself too often so you decide to keep laying in your bed enjoying all the time of the world. you just sleep so long until you feel ready to tackle reality. you take a hot shower for... as long as you like. You just take a shower until you can feel the individual fibres of muscles relaxing in your body, previously tensed up from sitting in a uncomfortable chair for too long, performing tasks that bored you. Maybe this was a bit too long. You feel rejuvinated, by now you almost forgot how it felt, a tiny tear runs down you cheek, what is this warm feeling filling your whole body reaching every outskirt of your soul? Unable to describe it comprehensively. Pure Bliss.

You have an idea what do on this sunny day. The sun is already touching the peaks of the blue sky, probably it's not morning anymore.

You decide to sit outside looking off into the distance, first overwhelmed by the deafening silence.

It takes you some time till you realize this couldnt be further from the truth. Slowly you start to pick up on some Birds singing its lighthearted tune in the distance and some rustling from the bushes next to your house. Fleeting thoughts enter your mind but disappear just as quickly as they appeared, contemplating past decisions and future possibilitys, too exhausting to listen to your inner monologe.

I start to wonder how i could spend all my days bored, craving entertainment.

The sky starts to look like one of those corny paintings you used to dislike, unable to understand the emotions it tried to convey, you get it now... You start to feel your rumbling stomach aching for food and water. You have no idea how long to boil your food in the water or how long to put it in the oven. You observe the food with keen eyes and with your senseable hunger on your tongue.

You had more time to cook and to observe the food than to wait for the ringtone that conditioned you to start eating at excact times. Darkness floodes you house and you become sleepy.

You lay down, something weird happens, usually all those worrying thoughts start to overpower your brain as soon as your head touches you pillow, today has been different, today you feel contempt.
