... you only drink cola?

A lot of people like Cola and you can do a lot of crazy stuff with it. But what would happen if you only drink Cola? What would it do to your health and you tooth? How does this affect you body? And would you even survive it?

A normal person should drink around two to three liters of water a day. So, you would need to drink two to three liters of Cola a day to replace all of your water intake. One glass of cola contains around already 20 grams of sugar. Half of what the recommended sugar intake for a normal person is. But to replace all your normal water intake with cola you would need to drink around 15 glasses of cola.  Which means you would drink 300 grams of sugar every day. Seven times this what is recommended for a normal person. This would have severe effect on your health. First of all, you would gain a lot weight thanks to the extra calories coming from the sugar. Also, your tooth would take some severe damage as each sip of coke would cover you tooth with sugar. This leads to a fast decay of your tooth and after a short time all your tooth will be missing. Also, you going to need to use the toilet a lot more because the caffeine in cola is a natural diuretic. Which means you need to pee a lot more. But this would be one of your smaller problems if you only drink cola. One of the main ingredients in cola, high fructose corn syrup leads to much bigger problems. This is because our body is not able to metabolize high fructose corn syrup. This could lead to a fatty liver. Symptoms of this are fatigue and pain in the upper right abdomen. If you continue to drink cola it is going to have even more fatal effects on your health like fainting spells and potassium deficiency. Also, you could get problems with you heart rate. But your problems won’t stop there. You are also at high risk of getting type-2 diabetes and loads of vitamin deficiencies. If you still continue drinking only cola you will eventually get kidney problems. And in the end, it will be likely that you would die through a heart attack, kidney failure or some other health related issue.  In conclusion only drinking cola is not a good idea and something nobody should try.
