Satyr

In German there is a saying that says „life is not a pony ranch“. But for the creatures I am going to talk about, it kind of is: the Satyrs.

These male nature spirits are half goat, or sometimes horse and half man. Their lower body is that of a horse or goat while the upper body is mainly human with a bestial face. Sometimes Satyrs are described as good for nothing, sometimes as party animals as they are known to be wine lovers and could play the flute fairly well. However, already long time ago, the people agreed that Satyrs are troublemakers because of there wild merry-making without any control of their impulses. That also meant that they were a serious threat to all women as they also couldn't control their lust and were usually very strong and drunk because of their love for wine. But Satyrs are not only a danger to women they are a danger for everyone else, too. A Satyr party is pretty much the opposite of a place you want to be. The wildness and recklessness of the nature spirits can quickly lead to a very destructive behaviour. It is being told that a Satyr party can rip a whole village apart by trampling down everyone and everything. So be aware of the existence of this nightmarish creature.

Solution:
Satyrs are a very old part of the Greek mythology. While they were being describes as very dangerous wild creatures in the earlier days of Ancient Greece, they are now often described more humanly and often referred to as “Faun”, which is their Roman equivalent.
