The Eurovision Song Contest is a big event for many people in Europe and even all around the world.

In fact, several contries that aren't part of the European Union can participate. As long as they are member of the European Broadcasting Union like for example Israel which participated in 1977 with Ilanit.

That year, the Contest took place in London, in the United Kingdom, the winner was France with the song « L'oiseau et l'enfant » performed by Marie Myriam. But we are here to learn more about Bessy Argyraki from her birth name, Vasileia, she was the artist representing Greece alongside Pascalis, Marianna and Robert. They arrived at the honorable place of 5th over 18 contestants thanks to the greek song « Mathima Solfege » translated to english with « Solfege Lesson ». Bessy's participation in the Eurovisio Song Contest helped her launch a solo career. She released a single and an album in Japan. Her song « Toshihiko » entered the TOP10 of japenese singles. She also had the opportunity to represent Greece in many International festivals and won many prizes. She is still an active singer and is now known for the many covers she does including songs for France Gall and Kim Wilde.
