... You knew when you will die?

This week on our “What if” category, I would like to ask all of us another very interesting hypothetical question. What if you knew when you will die? I think this is a brilliant question as a lot of us have probably already thought of that scenario before.

Often we are confronted with the topic death, especially by movies. There are actually quite a few movies that deal with people knowing or somehow finding out when their life will end, so no wonder many of us have already asked themselves the question of today.

I think that this question is really interesting because for us that would somehow mean that our life is predetermined and we don’t have an influence on major events that might lead to our death in some way. If it really was like that then for me that would definitely be a free ticket to try any extreme type of sport and all the other crazy dangerous stuff.

The down side would probably be that you can not really choose your day of death and in case your life is predetermined to end when you are in your mid twenties, I don’t think that this would make me happy but pretty sure panic.

In my opinion one big plus of knowing how long your life will be, is that we all would more likely enjoy the time we are actually alive. Still, what makes life so amazing is that it really is unpredictable and anything can happen at any time.
