We are back this week to talk about Dennis Wheeler, an American folk artist.

He grew up with the folk revival of the 50s and 60s and started doing music very young. Influenced by the members of his family who also played instruments like the 5 string banjo.

In 1966, Dennis took a disassembled banjo to Vietnam with him while serving in the Army medical Corps, not realizing till afterwards that his Great Uncle had taken his banjo to France in WWI, what a coincidence! He once said "Guitar is really my greatest love and has been the vehicle for all my song writing over the years”.
