... You would live forever?

Today I want to think together with you about a question that everyone of us has probably already thought about at least once in his or her life. The question I’m talking about is: “What if you would live forever?” .

Imagine life without an end. I think many of us really wanted this to be reality when we were little and many of us still do because the thought of death and life suddenly being over is so complicated and scary.

When I was a child I wished that I can live forever but only if I could choose all the people that can live together with me forever too. I think it would be so devastating if you are the only one who would live forever because all the people who would become a part of your life and who you love would die and you would have to live on with all those losses.

And even if you wouldn’t be the only one who would live forever but everybody would, it would still be horrible. I know that this is very hard to understand because life is everything we have and it is amazing. The real reason why life is so amazing though is because we all know that it is going to be over some day. We learn to appreciate all the things in life because we know that we will never experience the same things ever again. You only live every situation once and that what makes our life so special.
