o σκιώδης άνθρωπος

translated ο σκιώδης άνθρωπος means the shadow man. He has a long history in Greece of being feared because no matter what age, gender or strength, no one can avoid him in the long run.

When he follows you around you will feel it in every single bone of your body.  
You can sense that the shadow man must be very tall when creeps up from behind. However, no one really knows what he looks like because as soon as you turn around to see who is following you he falls apart into a pitch black shadow. If you don't turn around he will bend over you and suck you up in less than a minute.

In recent years there have been many cases of people gone missing during broad daylight. Probably swallowed up by the shadow man.
He exists all over the world but only appears when the sun is out.

The scary thing about the shadow man is that you are not even safe in your own house if the lights are turned on. Anywhere where a shadow could be visible the chance of meeting the shadow man grows.
If he can't change into a shadow he won't appear. The risk is to high that someone might see his real appearance.
Therefore, you are safer only going out in the evening or when the weather is bad and the sky is filled with dark clouds.
So be aware of the shadow man the next time you step out of your house or even turn on a light.
