Today on Band of the week I would like to present to you the Russian duo called The Same Persons.

You might wonder why they chose such a phrase as their artist name. There is a simple reason behind the name. The two artists, Aleksey Yaschenko and Stanislav Yaschenko are twin brothers.

They produce electronic dance music and have uploaded 3 singles so far. The Same Persons started composing electronic music in 2016 and have since then gained over 500.000 fans.

In their most popular song called "Give me" they talk about showing passion and effort in a relationship. According to The Same Persons, showing or better said giving love makes you stronger. The melody is very upbeat and perfect for dancing and even though the duo lives in Russia they sing in English.
