... all houses had solar panels

Slowly the climate crisis becomes an everyday topic. All around the world people come together to strike for the climate and thousands of scientist are warning of the global warming. But many politicians are still not doing enough. There has to be a big change for sure and this change should better come quick! So would it help if all houses have solar panels?

One bad thing for the environment are coal power stations there are producing tones of carbon dioxide and therewith they have a huge part on the global warming. And also coal has a limited availability. For an enviromnent friendly option scientist developed solar panels which gain power out of the sun light. The sun is an unlimited resource and it doesn`t produce any carbon dioxide. So if every house had solar panels coal power stations wouldn`t be needed anymore. Every household would gain their own energy for their daily life in an eco-friendly way. Sounds good, right? The only problem with solar panels is that it is really hard to save excess energy. Without energy storage there is no power if the sun is not shining like in the night. Luckily scientist also developed some options to save excess energies. So if we say what if all houses had solar panels and the ability to save the excess energy, this problem would be solved. This energie storage must be very good because there are areas around the world were the sun doesn`t shine for weeks. This is another problem. Sun panels are only working if the sun shines. But with increasing latitudinal lines the sun shines less and less till 6 months without any sunlight. Up to today there is no comparable way to save energy for this amount of time. Imaginable could also be a huge distributing system where the sun energy from the Sahara could flow to the n\North Pole. But this still is music of the future. Another thing you have to keep in mind is what it costs the environment to built all these solar panels. Therewith I don`t mean the actual expense, in this article I suppose that all people already have solar panels on their houses no matter how much money they have or what kind of house they own. No, what I want to explain is that the production of this amount of solar panels would also produce a lot of carbon dioxid. So to keep it eco-friendly in total all the solar panels would have to be eco-friendly produced.

 So as you now probably noticed this idea is not really viable jet. There has to be a better storage ability first and also although I said that I suppose all people already have solar panels on their houses of course not everyone on the world can afford solar panels or even has a real house which could have solar panels. But generally solar panels are a good way to gain eco-friendly energy and to help against the global warning as long as you also look that the production of the panels is eco-friendly as well. To stop the global warming a different mindset is needed and solar panels can be the first step but please keep thinking further! We have to stop the global warming and it will need more than just solar panels.
