This time on Band of the Week we are happy to present to you Semme!

Semme (full name Semmuel Preason Jenkins) is an American albino singer-songwriter and rapper from Pensacola, Florida.

He was born on October 21, 1998, with Oculocutaneous Albinism Type 2.

Semme used it as motivation though and made it his strength.

After a rough childhood with his parents splitting, he started putting his emotions into words by writing music.

The emotional challenges he had to face, mainly because of being different, being bullied throughout his life and poverty became the basis of his writing.

At 16, Semme found out that he had been gifted with exceptional talent, and he decided to finally make use of it. He tried a few different studios but Semme was signed to Graphic Entertainment Music (Rodney Goldsmith and Michael Derek Ogden). In 2019 Semme became a co-owner of Graphic Entertainment Music LLC.

To this day he’s still releasing new singles frequently which has a big fan base. Many people feel understood when listening to his music and this also motivates him to continue writing very good songs.
