Nikos Oikonomopoulos is a very famous Greek singer who was born on the 30^th of June in 1984 in Patra. He first appeared on a bigger stage when he participated in the Greek talent show “Dream Show – The Music 2”. He did not only participate in that show but he also managed to perform better than everyone else and to become the winner.

This was the beginning of his very successful career as a Greek artist. He released his first album in 2007, only one year after he won the talent show in 2006. His debut album is called “Proti Agapi” and contains many songs like “Afto to Asteri” and “Den Eisai Entaxei” which were very successful.

Only one year later Nikos Oikonomopoulos already won his first award at the “MAD Video Music Awards” in the category “Best New Artist” and only a few months after winning his first award he published his second album which went gold. In 2009 he published his next album called “Katathesi Psihis” and in 2010 the album “Doro Gia Sena”. Both of these albums got the platinum certification and the album “Doro Gia Sena” even gained the triple platinum certification in 2011.

All in all Nikos Oikonomopoulos is one of the most famous and successful Greek music artists who manages to address the people with his music. By having produced songs that are very emotional but also other ones that want to make you dance his music addresses and fascinates many different people.
