Today I would like to introduce one of the most successful and famous Electronic Dance Music (EDM) producers of the planet. He is known as a DJ, songwriter, singer and producer of House Music, Electronic Pop and Electro-House. He was born in Scotland on the 17^th of January 1984 as Adam Richard Wiles. Nowadays he is better known under the name of Calvin Harris.

He started showing interest in music when he was a teenager and started creating his own demos in his bedroom in 1999. He published his first two songs called “Da Bongos” and “Brighter Days” at the age of 21 under the artist name “Stouffer”. After producing those two songs he decided to move to London to turn his passion into his profession but this plan did not work out.

That was the reason for him to move back to his home town where he kept producing music and publishing it on the platform “Myspace”. He started gaining popularity on the social media website and this was his breakthrough as a musician because the talent booker Mark Gillespie discovered him. This led to Adam Wiles getting a label deal with the record company “EMI” where he then was known under the name Calvin Harris.

Since then Calvin Harris has produced and released many hits that are known all around the globe and which have been played on some of the biggest festival stages in the world. Some of his most popular songs are “Feel So Close” , “We Found Love” , “Summer” and “Sweet Nothing”.
