Behind the artist name "Admiral Bob" stands Richard Bethell. He is from Ottawa in Canada and is a many-sided musician. He is a songwriter, but also sings and plays several instruments, like the guitar, the bass, the keyboard and the mandolin. In addition, he is the leader of the band "Sundays at 8". Like the band's name already gives away, the band plays and accompanies every Sunday night the service of Ottawa's Blessed Sacrament Parish. But that is not all Richard Bethell does. He also follows Brad Suck's – another Ottawan – footsteps and takes enthusiastically part of the Creative Commons, a platform, that legally helps to share knowledge and creativity.
