Borrtex

This week I would like to present you an artist, whose music I recently discovered and enjoyed a lot. Let me introduce you to Borrtex, a young soundtrack composer from Prague, Czech Republic.

Borrtex, whose real name is Daniel Bordovsky, started music school at the tender age of six. He studied the piano for seven years, whereas he dropped out of his drum classes after only two years. In 2013 Borrtex graduated music school with the piano being his main instrument.

Daniel Bordovsky’s career started in April 2017, when he visited Los Angeles for the first time. The invitation of the American composer James Newton Howard to his studio was the event which inspired Borrtex to start distributing his own music. One month later his first EP with the title ‘Peaceful Mind’ was published. In June 2017 the soundtrack ‘Hope’ was released, which was used in the episodes of JP Performance Show, hosted by Jean Pierre Kraemer.

In August 2017, Borrtex released his second album ‘Creation’, which was inspired by the work of Hans Zimmer, a German film score producer, whom he met in Prague in June 1017.

Since May 2017, when he decided to start composing his own music, his work has been used in more than 1000 projects. As time went by, his music started to gain more and more recognition. Today his soundtracks can be found in thousands of video projects, including student films, short movies, documentaries as well as online shows.

Daniel Bordovsky plans on moving to Los Angeles in the future in order to realize his dream of composing soundtracks for major movies.

Now to conclude this short introduction of Borrtex, you have the opportunity to listen to one of the soundtracks created by this amazing young artist. Lean back and enjoy. The song you will be listening to is ‘Thank you for this world’, which was published in 2018.
