Today i am looking forward to introducing you to a new artist. She is called Fleurie and is a singer songwriter whos music can be considered a mix between folk and electronic pop. The atmospheric sound she creates in her songs are accopmanied by heartfelt lyrics.

Her real Name is Lauren Strahm and she was born in 1990 in Michigan, close to Detroit. Strahm took piano lessons as a child, and also sang in church with her family. She wrote her first song when she was just 11 years of age, and began performing her work for others when she was 17.
In 2009 she realeased her first Album under her real Name. After that she lived in Australia for some time before she moved back to the United States and adopted the name , which is french for blooming flower. In 2013 she released her first album under her new name, which was called Fear&Fable and contained seven songs. Her second EP called Arrows had more electronic influences than the previous one. Her third EP called Love and War was described by herself as a cinematic album.
