Christmas Tango

'Christmas Tango' is a Greek movie based on a novel by Yannis Xanthoulis. This Drama tells the story about the life of four different persons who are included in military work, except of the wife of the Colonel.

 The main role has the wife of the strict and very conservative Colonel Loggou (Giannis Bezos), Zoi Loggou (Vicky Papadopoulou).  She has fallen out of the love to her husband long time ago. Her life is really boring until she meets the lieutenant Stefano who keeps an eye on her. He really wants to learn Tango because otherwise he will not be able to dance with Zoi at the Christmas celebration. His plan is to get more close to her and reveal his love for her. Of course he also is afraid of the Colonel Loggou.

Unexpectedly the young man Stefanos met the sixty five-old introverted soldier Lazaros, who has back hidden memories from 1970 when he had a sensual tango at a army Christmas celebration in Evros. So he agrees when Stefanos is pleading him to teach him this dance. Tango is the interface of these four roles in the movie.

Coming back to the present and Zoi today is aged about sixty-five and also suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
