„Oh, I still have one hour to get ready for school.“ „Okay, only 10 more minutes!!“ „You are 5 minutes too late!“. „Still 20 minutes 'til the end of the lesson...“. „At 3 I will meet my friend.“ „Already one in the night?! I have to go to bed.“
In which situation of the day are you not looking at your watch? Would it be possible to live one day without knowing the time?


It is morning. Not your annoying ringtone wakes you up but the birds that start to sing and the light that shines through the curtain of your window. Maybe you feel still a bit tired, so you sleep 15 more – wait... we don't know the time. So, you just sleep so long until you feel awake and want to start the day. You enjoy your breakfast as long as you like, you take a hot shower for... ok, no time. You just take a shower until the water condenses on the window and the bathroom is rather a sauna than a normal bathroom. Maybe this was a bit too long – but who cares now? You are completely relaxed and you have an idea what do on this beautiful sunny day. The sun is already very high, probably it's not morning anymore but already noon, or afternoon? You sit on your terrace with a very interesting and exciting book. You read and read and read... How long am I already sitting here? You don't know but you know that this book is just too thrilling to stop. After some minutes, hours? You look up again. What is that? The sky is painted in various colours and... oh, you can see the sunset already. You recognise that you are actually very hungry and you start to cook. You have no idea how long to boil your food in the water or how long to put it in the oven. You observe the food with keen eyes and with your hungry tongue. In the end, you have a very tasty meal. Maybe your pasta is a bit too soft and your beacon a bit too black, but you had more time to cook and to observe the food than to look at the watch and at excact times. It gets dark and you become sleepy. This day has been so relaxing; you are very happy and go to bed.

Next morning – your alarm clock interrupts your peaceful sleep, your friend calls you and is very angry: „Where have you been? We wanted to meet at 3 o clock!!“, you look at your calendar and noticed that you missed an appointment with the doctor... . A normal day starts again. But now – maybe sometimes you will avoid to look at your watch for every situation. It is just more relaxing, isn't it?
