... nobody sponsors sport?

Everybody knows that around the world there are rich people who invest in sports such as football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball etc ..
But not everyone knows that the most popular sport is football with 3 billion and 500 million fans with a gain of billions and billions of euro. The second most followed sports in the world is cricket with 3 billion fans.
But what if nobody wanted to invest their money in sports?

Probably some of those people would spend the money for themselves. But other rich people would maybe invest it in different ways trying to provide jobs for very poor people who need to support their families by building industries. If the athletes were poor they would definitely be less stressed but it would be possible for everyone to be part of the game and would reduce violence in many parts of the world because of sport. Many supporters of different teams nowadays are not limited to support their team, but seek confrontation with opposing fans damaging the city, public places etc ...
Sports, however, are also a cause for uniting people and if nobody would invest their money in sports, it would not be possible to organize events such as World Championships for any sports and Olympic Games.
Sometimes sport serves a therapeutic cause as well to clear the mind for a moment. You can forget about all the problems of life when devoting yourself to a passion like a team or a favorite player, which distracts us and makes us feel more happy.
