Africa is the world’s second-largest and second most populous continent. At about 30 million  km2  including adjacent islands 1 billion people live there, but they have a backward culture.

Through the colonization that began since XV the cities and the villages were destroyed and so also the civilization. The major European states enslaved people to work in America.
If that had not happened for sure now the distribution of wealth all over the world would be different.
Africa would have a different technological path and would be one of the strongest states. This could enable Africa to make an alternative technology path and discover new useful inventions for humanity.
How many doctors, scientists, teachers have died in the past wars and still? If Africa had not been colonized now there would be maybe less wars, because Africa would have more money to invest in the support of its citizens.  If the wars would end, there would be less poverty and a more stable economy. But now the governments are engaged in civil wars and are forced to economically serve the first world countries.
So what do you think, is the power America has over the other countries really that good as it is presented?
