Boogie Belgique is the recording name of Oswald Cromheecke, an Abstract Hiphop & Electroswing producer/DJ. He is 22 years old, he lives in Belgium and he studied Illustration and animation.

Before he became Boogie Belgique, he used to play in a raggaeband with some friends. Then he decided to focus more on producing himself. He started with the release of his free debut album.
He’s always liked swingjazz, hiphop, funk & soul. After a while he came across electroswing and he liked it immediately. After experimenting for a long time he started to make a kind of mixture between Abstract Hiphop and electroswing music. He tries to produce music that has modern beats but still has that delicate/vintage touch that you can hear in the originals.
Where he lives in Belgium the electro swing scene is still very small but that’s changing very fast. He thinks it’s a genre that is underrated but it has a bright future.

Boogie Belgique’s music can be described as a fusion of old and new, vintage yet innovative music that you can play on a dance floor or in your living room. Live he brings a show with live sampling, trumpet, drums, piano and synths with midi-triggered live fully animated visuals.
