One very old traditional Greek dish is Fava. Its origin cannot be found anymore, but in Santorini Fava is used like Pasta in Italy. Its name originates from the Latin word “favus” which means broad bean. And that’s almost what Fava is made of. Its main ingredient is yellow peas, which are part of the family of pulses.
