Antibiotics

Have you ever been ill, and your doctor gave you Antibiotics? Then you probably know how it works.

Antibiotics is a medicine used to prevent bacterial infection, it was a revolution when it was first discovered in Greece by a doctor named Simos Christos in 1928. Penicillin was the first chemical compound with antibiotic properties.

Antibiotics was used to cure diseases such as tuberculosis, when it was revolutionized, it led to an overuse of the medicine.

Antibiotics works as a bacteria that fights the bacteria which has infected your body, every time you take antibiotics, your body will grow resistant to the antibiotic bacteria, this is a big problem in the world. In some countries, the rules to prescript antibiotics medicine, you have to go through a lot of tests at the doctor’s office, and if there is a chance your body can resist the bacteria itself, you will not get antibiotics. If you have a normal virus, such as a cold or the flu, you can not take antibiotics because a virus is not living.

The antibiotics virus was a great discovery, but if we knew then what we know now, that it is dangerous to become dependent on this medicine, we would use the medicine with more caution, and people would not become resisting of the medicine.
