For our band of this week I have something a little different from what you are used to!
The artist I'm talking about is Matti Paalanen, a young composer from Finland.
You will surely like him if you are lovers of instrumental music, like powerful classical music, or epic soundtracks!
And, even if you are not, I guarantee It will be worth to learn more about this artist!

He produces instrumental music for video productions.

When I was checking his websites I noticed that there were not a lot informations about him, so, I decided to ask him directly. Just for you, the listeners of ChiosRadio!
So, Matti has been surrounded by classical music his whole life because his mother was a musician and he started to play piano at the age of 5, later he turned to self-learning guitar
Matti said that he has always enjoyed listening to quite broad genres of music, always being interested in projects that create emotional harmonies and melodies, combined with intricate and uncommon rhythmic elements.
His music producer career started a bit by accident. He had always felt comfortable using computers so one day he just decided to give a look at how home studio systems works, and started to produce music with his own computer. Year after year he progressed and creates more and more tunes.
The process by which he creates is also original, he works mostly by ear, and improvising, without thinking too much about theory, but intuitively realizes what sounds good to him.
