Now Endeavor

The band we present you this week comes from Detroit and consists of Just Pete and Thom the Disco Spider - two young members that make awesome music together. Now Endeavor is the band’s name and means to persevere now, it’s also a pun! (Now and Ever) They present themselves in an outstanding way:

Long ago, there were two boys from Detroit. They looked so different from everyone, so they couldn’t figure out where they belonged. They tried Polka, Ceviche, Poutine, Hip Hop….you know….stuff like that. After trying every culture in the world, they said to one another, “Damn I’m hungry, and we don’t fit anywhere (sad face).” However, the boys came to the realization that they ended up fitting in EVERYWHERE.
Pete and Thom are brothers from Detroit, Michigan who were interested in and followed different musical directions for a while. Pete is a lover of R&B and hip hop. Thom prefers to listen to pop punk and indie rock. After some years they discovered that it’s easier to make music and work in family, so they decided to make a musical project and called it Now Endeavor.
Most of the music tracks are written by Now Endeavor themselves; just two songs on their EPs aren’t their own. But they heavily edited them to make the songs fit in their musical vision. A friend named Mick Maslowski helped Now Endeavor a lot with production and tracking instruments and for the live shows they give from time to time they are supported by some other musicians.
The best way to define Now Endeavor’s music is just Pop. They think they can capture the best of any genre and make anyone enjoy it. They say that a lot of bands mix different genres within a song, but they prefer to stay in one lane for each song, however the lanes can change drastically from song to song! Now Endeavor claims that they’ll be writing in even more genres soon!Inspirational influences of Now Endeavor come from artists of the time period 1980-2000.
Their next goals are to make a music video for every song that they release and also to release another EP in 2015. Additionally they want to perform more often live. So stay tuned and check out their EP on Jamendo where you can download their tracks for free!
