Agia ermioni

Agia Ermioni is a beautiful fishing village located 10 km south of Chios Town and 3 km south of Karfas. The village has 200 permanent inhabitants and several cottages that are used for summer vacations.

Over the years, the area has been quite developed due to its idyllic surrounding and the peaceful environment. The traditional style of the village is highly appreciated by the tourists who enjoy spending time there.

The village offers newly-built hotels and other types of accommodation. Around the small port, there are many cafeterias and bars. The beaches in Agia Ermioni have a beautiful view to the Aegean Sea and perfect waters to swim in.

And if you walk to the top of pronos hill you can see beautiful scenery of Ermioni, the surrounding mountains, hills and sea. You will also find an old church built in 1754 the church is built on the foundations of an ancient temple belonging to the goddess Hera. The church is only used for special occasions like weddings and christenings.
