Komi

On Chios Island it’s very easy to find a calm and empty beach where you can swim or take a sunbath almost alone. But most of the beaches on Chios island are stony. That’s why I would like to present you a sandy beach named Komi.

Komi is  located in the south part of the island and is one of a few sandy beaches of Chios. On this long beach you can find everything what tourists need on their holidays – umbrellas, sunbeds, rooms for rent. There are also many nice taverns with fresh fishes and bars where you can have drinks. During the summer music festivals and parties take place.
Komi beach is located about 20 kilometers away from Chios city, 4 km outside the village of Kalamoti. You can get there by public transportation, car or motorbike.
So if you like to relax on a beautiful beach and taste delicious seafood you should go there as soon as possible.
