Summer Cinema "Cine Kipos"

The Municipal Summer Cinema "Cine Kipos" was established in 1995 by the municipality of Chios and its Development Agency. It is situated in the Municipal Garden (Kipos) of Chios city.

The establishment of the cinema is part of the effort made by Local Authorities aiming to preserve the typical Greek habit of open summer cinemas.

In the selection of the film program, Cinema Kipos gives emphasis on the promotion of European films of quality. Since 1996 Cine Kipos is a member of the Panellenic Network of Municipal Cinemas in cooperation with the Greek Ministry of Culture.
