... you woke up in Japan tomorrow?

Ohayōgozaimasu! Good morning from Tokyo, a metropolis of 13 millions of residents where you could get the feeling of being travelling in time. If you were there, with a lot of money in your pocket, would you seize the opportunity to walk around futuristic roads (maybe wearing a costume of your favourite anime character) and buy everything you want and need?

Because if there's one thing that Japanese people can definitely do is creating and selling incredible products.Have you have heard about an edible newspaper or a shopping cart only for watermelon? And about socks that separate the big toe from the rest, so you can wear them with flip-flops? Guess you will be surprised about all the things that you can find...even in the common vending machines! The Japanese vending machines were created to offer consumers a wide range of products over just snacks and beverages. Speaking about food, there are a lot of hot dishes ready to be bought, and it is not unusual to even see eggs, bananas or lobsters.

Moreover, the restaurant Mr Kanso has become very popular for offering customers canned food to eat directly on the spot from the can. And if it starts raining and you don’t have an umbrella with you, there you find an umbrella vending machine in every corner, and if you’re lucky a parking space for it close to the store you’re going to. Life in a big city, after a day of work or shopping in Shibuya can become very stressful, then it could be a good reason to enter a neko-cafe, where you can drink a cup of tea stroking and playing with cats. For cats lover it would be better to visit Aoshima, an island where cats outnumber humans six to one.

Ultimately, visiting Japan would be an extraordinary and surreal experience, as to be in the funny and strange country we are all fascinated.
