Beast of the Labirynth

In this week we would like to present you another mythic...

Actually I don't know. I will need your help to figure that out.

A grotesque abomination that possessed the body of a man and the head of a bull, it is best remembered for his affinity for devouring flesh in his cryptic home, deep within the confines of the twisted labyrinth.

The beast was the son of the queen of the island kingdom, when she was tricked by the god of the sea she fell in love with a bull and laid with him using a special designed hollow wooden cow. After nine months she gave birth to an abomination.

After her husband saw the unnatural child, he ordered the best engineer of the kingdom to build a maze where the beast would live for the rest of his live.

There is a story about how every year fourteen youngsters were given as a tribute to the lord of powerful island kingdom, so he can feed the beast with them. They stepped into depths of the labyrinth where one by one they were hunted down by the hungry beast.

At the third of such occasions, the prince of one of tribute’s nations volunteered to kill the monster. He dressed as a woman and hid with his soldiers among the tribute. When he was finally on the island he used thread offered to him by the beast stepsister to solve the riddle of the maze and kill the it.

What do you think? Mythical creature or product of a screenwriter's imagination? If you think you know check the answer below my article.
