... modern technology did not exist?

Can you imagine a day or better a life without using modern technology? Can you imagine waking up in the morning because the sun arised and not because your mobile phone was ringing? Modern technology is used by us nearly every day and for sure, it has its good things but it has as well a negative part.

Having the possibility to stay in contact with friends all over the world is a great thing which broadens your horizon. Since the invention of the computer, work has changed a lot. Imagine writing everything per hand or searching information in a lexicon instead of google it or look it up on Wikipedia. The world would be much more complicated than it is now.
But on the other hand, as I mentioned it before, using modern technology may have many bad parts to. Having your mobile phone in your pocket, everyone knows where you are and sometimes even what you are doing. This is not just because the actualization of your Facebook status, but also because the people can locate you whenever they want to, but why do they care about that? If you for example go into the same store every Monday to buy yourself something to eat and the store knows that because of locating your mobile phone, they maybe make a offer for you on Tuesday so that you buy the same thing on Monday and Tuesday, but you don’t really need it because you still have some bread that you bought on Monday. So they took your money by “forcing” you to buy something you don’t need. You don’t think that is possible? Try it and search for a special product on Amazon and then go to another webpage and you will see exactly that product appearing as a commercial on that webpage.
So all in all it could be said that the modern technology may help us a lot in our daily life, but we have to pay attention in order to not get addicted to it nether that anyone can telecontrol us.
