... we interrupt the process of globalization?

Globalization is a process that began in the 15th century after the discovery of America.

Globalization is a set of processes that have created political and cultural economic interdependence among the different nations around the globe.

We know four kinds of globalization: cultural, economic, technological  & scientific knowledge and geopolitical.

This world phenomenon has its pros and cons that have sparked the birth of different thinking patterns like the NOGLOBAL.

Among the pros of globalization we find: the rapid diffusion of technology and information, the increase of jobs, the increase of low cost products, the growth of the average cultural level, greater freedom for individuals, less conflict, greater dialogue between people, the improvement of the quality of life, etc.

Against this, we find the raising poverty of the poor people and the increase the wealth of the rich people, the homogenization of tastes and customs, the exploitation of labor, the widespread presence of multinationals in many cities of the globe, the increase of labor exploitation and foreign debt especially in developing countries, the increase in migratory flows, etc.

Globalization is a constantly evolving process. Let us now imagine what would happen if we interrupted the process of globalization.

First of all we would have a blackout of the global economy that would have many negative effects on the daily life of everyone. In the same way the information travelling fast from anywhere to the world  would be stopped without low-cost technology. These devices would no longer be used in a large scale and would become a luxury for few. Maybe if these processes were blocked the consequences would not be all that negative. In fact, we would see multinationals collapse because they are unable to sell in non-global markets. This would lead to a reduction in labor exploitation and maybe more growth in less developed countries.
