Delitto su Carta

When I think about music I like, I think about music, where the songs have a meaning behind them, when they bring us closer to reality, the nice things and the bad ones, which create our everyday life. Music should make us dream, but also make us think about our life, how we live, what we do, what we can do differently.

Delitto su Carta is an Italian alternative rock band created in the year 2004 by a small group of four people, Davide Fontanel who does the vocals and plays the guitar, Diego Bozza who plays as well guitar, Allessandro Mirone who plays the bass and Paola Sivelli who plays the drums.
The band plays a simple rock characterized by very melodic riffs. Even though it is rock, hearing it calms you down and you are interested to hear what they want to tell you. The lyrics of the most songs or better to say, of the songs I read are kind of critical towards the attitude of the human, like : We should not let anyone destroy us, we should use everything that happens to us to get stronger and in the end we can show the other, who wanted our bad, how thankful we are because he made us stronger and we show him that he can not touch us.
We should always be ourselves, because if we do not let ourselves to develop normally, we will disappear and with us everything that surrounds us. Why should we be someone else?
Also we should always choose for us, because even if it is easier to let others choose, it is only in the first moment, at the end we choose to be dependent of someone else.
So they talk about problems in the human nature we get confronted with everyday and they put what they say in very melodic words and sentences.
But what do a thousand words say about music until the moment you hear it yourself.
The next song you will hear is called “Different Paths”.
It tells us that in life there are moments which make us grow stronger or let us fall, but we should never think that we are perfect, because the perfection lies in the desire of growth. We can not stop growing one day and say we are perfect, because we grow as long as we are alive, the moment we stop we are dead.
So what about you - are you alive?
