BONY

Today I want to introduce you some energetic Latin artist -Bony (whose real name is Abel Cuevas) is a very known Latin urban music singer of Dominican descent (desent). He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City. Bony has emerged as one of the most promising artists in the Latino community in New York City.

In a short time his music was heard in countries like the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia and on the European continent. His stage name comes from the acronym 'Beast of New York' (The Beast of New York).

It was in high school that Bony started experimenting with becoming a lyricist. Free styling during lunch breaks, as well as fooling around with recording equipments but nothing concretely ever came out of it. The begining of his career wasn't easy. He haven't got any support and he was marginalize (mardżinelajz) that attracts only the Latin urban genre ( dżenre). In search of new collaborations and musical rhythms, Bony joined Ctoonz, a record company based on high Manhattan, where he began working with famous producer Kali D in The Biitrola. Since then, Bony and Kali, have created several musical successes that have marked the career of Bony and the Dominican urban music genre among others. Today he is working on mainstream music in the areas of pop. So if you are ready for the music which is motivated by emotion and passion, rhythm and movement, then get up on your feet because you can't take Latin music sitting down.
