... dream were the door to parallel universes?

There are many theories that try to explain why the man spends a third of his life sleeping.
Sleep is one of the mysteries of biology. But what gives more questions is an aspect related to it, dreaming.

Dreams have fascinated human beings since ancient times. For our ancestors they were the means used by the gods to communicate with men. Even in the Bible there are increasing reports which tell of dreams destined to educate the person on the will of God.

But why do we dream? What are dreams?
Numerous theories have been proposed, but none of them is fully shared by the researchers. Considering the huge amount of time we spend in the dream state, the fact that researchers have not yet understood the function of dreams may seem baffling.

But what if dreams were real? What if they were the door to a parallel universe?
If this was confirmed it would immediately question most of the beliefs of our time.
Everyone is able to dream, and everyone would like to visit these new universes.
Maybe teams of explorers would be instituted, to observe and study the other reality and maybe try to have a contact with the inhabitants of the new worlds to better understand this mysterious phenomenon.
But there could also be negative aspects, many people may prefer the new universes, and spend too much time in them, dreaming, maybe without understanding what reality is, the reality from which they come.
